Le Guide Non-Exhaustif des Créatifs de ParisGraduating project
From my first year of university in Nantes, I was told that the key to success was moving to Paris. This made me curious, as many of my inspirations came from the capital. I wondered if Paris would truly be the right fit for me. To find out, I delved into extensive research about the city and its work culture.
However, I soon realized that Paris's dominance in our field was rarely questioned. Determined to challenge this notion, I created "The Non-Exhaustive Guide for Paris Creatives." This paper and audio guide features interviews with five individuals who, despite not being originally from Paris, have chosen to live and work there. Diane Boivin, Apolline Compte, Juliette Lefèvre, and the duo ffi0oul share their experiences, both positive and negative, and offer invaluable advice for those considering a move to the city.
The guide also includes a selection of recommended places, tips for newcomers, and a questionnaire to help readers assess their suitability for a Parisian career. Additionally, the podcasts feature exclusive interview excerpts and are available on YouTube and Spotify.
My aim is to assist individuals, particularly students, who are contemplating their career paths. We've all heard the mantra "Go to Paris to succeed," but is it truly the only way? Are we all cut out for the competitive and fast-paced Parisian job market? Discover the answer through my final year project.
